July 4th walk celebrating America's 250 and all who served

CELEBRATING AMERICA’S 250TH BIRTHDAY — HONORING ALL WHO SERVED

Join WalkforVets.org on Saturday, July 4, 2026, for a special Beach Walk on Hilton Head Island as we celebrate our nation’s 250th birthday while honoring the men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces.

This approximately 8-mile walk will take participants along the beautiful Hilton Head shoreline, bringing together veterans, military families, supporters, and community members for a day of patriotism, remembrance, and camaraderie.

Walk begins at 10:00 AM
Participants should arrive by 9:00 AM for transportation to the starting location.
Meet at the parking lot at Singleton Beach Road and Castnet Drive near Coco’s on the Beach (parking fees may apply).

After the walk, continue the celebration with a July 4th Beach Party from Noon until 5:00 PM at Coco’s on the Beach (ONE THE BEACH), hosted by Salon Celeste.

A heartfelt thank you to Tammy and Coco’s on the Beach for helping coordinate this event and to Dave Peck, owner of Pool Bar Jim’s, for providing transportation to the starting location.

As America marks 250 years of freedom, we invite you to walk with us in honor of those who helped defend it. Whether you’re a veteran, active-duty service member, military family member, or simply someone who wants to show support, we would be honored to have you join us.
